Russia’s IMH coke output rises 3% to 699,000 tns in Jan–Mar
MOSCOW, Apr 26 (PRIME) -- Coke output of Russia’s Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH), earlier known as Koks Group, grew 3% on the year to 699,000 tonnes in January–March thanks to higher exports, the company said in a statement Tuesday.
Coking coal output surged 79% on the year to 579,000 tonnes in the period, while coal concentrate production rose 7% to 626,000 tonnes.
Iron ore output fell 1% to 1.25 million tonnes and iron ore concentrate production remained flat at 559,000 tonnes. Cast iron output stood at 560,000 tonnes, the company said.
